SU 6208 SOUTHWICK & WIDLEY COMMON LANE

Cottage. C17 timber frame with late C19 recladding of part. Exposed frame
with painted brick infill; the west side has brickwork in stretcher bond.
Thatch roof, half-hipped at the west end, hipped at the east and brought to a
low eaves, eyebrow dormers, one gabled dormer with tiled roof and surround.
One storey and attic four windows. Casements. Plain doorway in C20 gabled porch.
