SU 62 NW WEST MEON WOODLANDS
1/1 School House (formerly
6.3.67 listed as The Old
School House)

Cottage, once used as a school. C17 timber frame with early C19 cladding,
and late C20 restoration. Frame exposed at the south side and north-west end,
with brick infill, other walls of brickwork in Flemish bond with blue headers.
Hipped thatch roof, eyebrow dormers, one tiled gabled dormer with tiled roof
surround. North-east front elevation of one storey and attic, two above four
windows. C20 brackets above stone octagonal Gothic pedestal.
