1869-75. Architect Tronquois of Paris. Red brick lodge with wide stone bands. Slate roof, gable ends with stone verges and ball finials. Central brick chimney stack. 2 storeys. Narrow 2-light sashes with glazing bars. Open wooden porch on end elevation. Attached to side is a circular turret with steep conical roof with wind vane, and dentilled cornice. Including gate piers: ashlar, panelled piers with cornices and iron finial, lower attached flanking piers of brick with wide stone bands and carved scrolls below the cap of main pier.
