Mainly C17-C18 but incorporates in the central and northern bays an earlier timber-framed
portion. Faced in roughcast; 2 storeys plus attic. Facade has gabled projecting
bays (one window each) at either side, that on right being the larger; centre has
5 sash windows in broad cases, gable at centre, 1 gabled dormer and good moulded
wood doorcase with engaged Tuscan pilasters, pulvinated frieze, and pediment.
Elevation to garden, which was altered circa 1810, has a projecting bay with 3
windows in stone keyed surrounds, a tall semi-circular headed window lighting staircase,
and a large bow window to ground storey. The wing to north, altered and extended.
Moulded wood eaves; tiles. Queen Anne staircase and panelling to stair-well and
landing, all now painted.
