Low Furrow and
Meon House

House range C17 and C19 with modern additions. Blue lias stone with some early C19
red brick. Plain tile roofs. Originally one-storey and attic, raised in red brick at
North end. Central stack to North section, 2 modern ridge stacks to South section.
Ground floor blue lias stone throughout, 4 small buttresses and 3 original stone
mullioned windows with hoodmoulds, one modern copy. Casement windows to right hand
side. Three modern and one small iron casement. South end is modern addition.
1st floor, North end, brick with 4 small paired casements. South end, 2 dormer
gables, one half dormer. Rear much altered. Heavy internal timbers with chamfers
and carved stops.
