GV II
House. C17 with mid-C19 and mid-C20 alterations. Timber-framed with painted
brick and rendered infill, brick replacement walling and refacing, and thatched
roofs. Two framed bays aligned north/south with additional framed bay at north
gable end enclosing former external chimney; single storey and attic with
dormers with single-storey addition. Framing: three panels from sill to wall-
plate, short straight braces in upper corners, collar and tie-beam truss with
two struts survives in north gable end. West front elevation: main part has
one window to each bay; ground floor has two 2-light casements and above are
two gabled dormers cut into thatch also with 2-light casement; main entrance
in single-bay extension having a small ledged and battened door. Attic light
in south gable end. Interior not inspected.
