Farmhouse. Early C18, probably rebuilding of older structure with mid-C19
alterations and additions. Brick, partly handmade, plain tiled roof with
brick and and central ridge stack. Two storeys and attic; 3-course band
between storeys; four bays. South front elevation: windows are all 12-pane
sashes with cambered heads; windows of first bay and ground-floor window of
third bay have side lights; main entrance immediately to right of second bay
window and has a gabled timber-framed Cl9 porch with lattice detail in gable
and a 6-panelled door with a cambered head. Attic lights in gable ends.
Interior not inspected but said to have good staircase. C19 additions
rear.
