Granary, now house. Late C18, restored and converted to house in late C20.
Red brick, hipped plain tiled roof of broad span with brick ridge stacks.
Two levels with dentilled eaves cornice. Five bays; the east side elevation
was originally open on the ground floor, the upper part of the wall resting
on timber lintels supported by four cylindrical brick piers; the openings
are now glazed and have double doors inserted in the fourth and fifth bays;
above are three gabled dormers with 2-light casements, a skylight and the
former gabled loft door above the second bay has been glazed. Interior: roof
noted for having canted aisle posts supported on the floor joists of the
granary. An unusually large granary with cart shed beneath; its scale, pro-
portions and overall character have been retained in conversion. The building
is of group value with Becks Farmhouse (qv) and barn (qv).
