Becks Barn

(Formerly listed as Barn about 50 yards east of Granary House)

GV
II

Barn. Late C18. Timber-framed, weatherboarded, brick plinth and plain tiled roof. Three framed bays; central wagon bay with opposing cart entries blocked to west elevation and having small double doors inserted in east elevation. Owl hole in north gable end.

Interior: inspection not possible; however the barn is believed to have wall-frames with long rectangular panels and straight lower corner braces; the exposed purlin ends and roofline suggest that the roof structure has been little altered.

The barn lies close to Granary House (qv) and Becks Farmhouse (qv).
