House. Late C17, altered mid-C19, restored mid-C20. Timber-framed,
rendered infill, plain tiled roof. Two framed bays aligned roughly north/
south; large external chimney at south gable end with bread oven, tiled off-
sets and a pair of C19 star-shaped stacks. Two storeys with scalloped barge-
boards and finials at gable ends. Framing: four panels from sill to wall-
plate, very long straight braces across lower corners and collar and tie-
beam trusses with two struts. West front elevation: C20 casements; two
ground- and first-floor 2-light windows; central C20 gabled porch with stable
door and rectangular lights each side. Interior: the wall-framing is mainly
intact; large fireplace at south end with bread oven blocked. Altered C19
rear wing and rear C20 additions not included.
