Lodge to Bevere Manor, now house. Early C19, with mid-C20 alterations
and additions, Stucco, plain tiled roof and large stuccoed ridge stack.
Cottage orné style. Single storey and attic with drip mould. Asymmetric
plan, roughly L-shaped with gabled wings projecting to south and east;
east wing gable end has main entrance, a C20 door and a lancet in the apex;
on each side of the wing is a square light and hood mould with returns, and
to the right side of the wing is a 2-light, C20 casement; south wing gable
end has a glazed two-centred archway, hood mould with returns and pointed-
lobed trefoils in the spandrels, a lancet in the apex and lancets in each
side wall; between the two wings is a hipped roof projecting with C20
windows on both elevations; the north elevation has a 2-light window with
cavetto-moulded mullion and hood mould with returns and a 2-light, C20
casement. Interior not inspected. A long, single storey C20 extension
adjoins the west side elevation. Included for group value.
