north-east corner of Mill

Garden wall. Probably early C19, altered during mid-C20. Brick with a stone
coping. Approximately 5 feet high and 60 yards long running in a north-
easterly direction from the house. Along the south-east side is a blind arcade
of alternate large and small arches with cambered heads; there are 9 bee-boles
inserted in 9 of the smaller archways. On the north-west side, near to the
house, are small blind archways with cambered heads and 3 hen houses, built
to also act as buttresses, approximately 4 feet high and having small openings
with stone lintels at the base of each. A gateway has been inserted into the
wall about 6 yards from the house.
