Barn. Probably Cl7, much altered. Timber-framed, weatherboarded on sand-
stone rubble and brick plinth, corrugated iron roof. Three-bay barn with
central wagon bay and opposed cart entries. Framing: mainly three panels
from sill to wall-plate, long straight braces in lower corners, end collar-
and-tie-beam trusses, two collars with raking struts beneath lower collar
and queen struts above. Roof has two rows of trenched purlins and inter-
mediate collar-and-tie-beam trusses with raking struts.
