Cottage. Late C16 with mid-C19 and mid-C20 alterations and additions.
Timber-framed, rendered and painted brick infill, slate roof, large
external brick stack at north gable end. Two framed bays with timber-
framed rear catslide outshut. Two storeys. Framing: three square panels
from sill to wall-plate, swept braces in lower corners, collar-and-tie-
beam trusses with queen struts and V-struts in apex at gable ends. Main
garden elevation: scattered fenestration; two 2-light ground and first
floor casements; central timber-framed, gabled porch with moulded finial
and ledged and battened door. Interior not inspected. At right side of
main elevation is a mid-C19 single storey former dairy wing. C20 flat
roofed rear extension.
