Churchyard wall, railings and gates. c1830. Sandstone ashlar and cast iron.
Wall has chamfered coping and is stepped to accommodate sloping site, varying
between 3' 6" and 5' 0" high. Facing road wall forms a 2' 0" high plinth for
railings and is interrupted by lych gate and war memorial (not included);
flanking lych gate and at each end are stone piers, three of which are
original octagonal shape with moulded capping. Railings and gates to
(lych gate) piers have spear-heads with tassles; gates also have dog-rails
similarly detailed.
