11/6 Walnut Tree Cottage

GV II

House. C17, with late C19 and C20 alterations. Timber-frame on ashlar
plinth with painted brick infill, machine tile roof. Two framed bays
aligned east/west, stack to west gable. South front: one storey with
attic lit by two gabled dormers; 3-light casement to left on ground floor,
entrance to right with lean-to tiled canopy and half-glazed door. Framing:
three square panels high with straight angle braces, both gables rebuilt.
Internal inspection suggests that the chimney stack was at the east gable,
with gable entrance adjoining.
