Walnut Tree Cottage

GV II

Barn and cow house. Mid to late C18 with late C19 alterations. Timber-frame,
weatherboarded, on ashlar plinth (some brick infill to cow house); half-hipped
tile roof. Three framed bays of barn aligned east/west with central threshing
floor, five-bay cow house extending south from south-east corner. Framing:
barn: single rectangular panels high with straight tension braces and queen-
post roof; cow house: open front with straight angle braces to posts of arcade.
