30.7.59 High House Farmhouse)

GV II

House. Early C17, altered mid-C19, restored late C20. Timber-frame,
rendered infill, sandstone plinth, machine tile roof. Two framed bays aligned
north/south (gable end to street) with gable-end stacks. West front: two
storeys, irregular fenestration: three 2-light C20 casements; ground floor
has same number of similar windows, entrance to extreme left with gabled
porch and glazed door. Framing: four square panels high with straight
angle braces; ground floor of north gable is close-studded. North gable
truss: two struts to collar, V-struts in apex.
