GV II

House. C15 with mid-C19 and C20 alterations. Timber-frame with rendered
infill, tile roof. Three framed bays aligned north/south, external brick
stack to north gable. Gable to street blind, west front of two storeys with
entrance roughly central. Framing: four square panels high with curved
tension brace in east wall, and decorative S-braces in upper panel of north
gable; truss in south gable: raking struts to collar, clasped purlin, the
west bargeboard is scalloped in relief, C15. Interior not inspected but
likely to be of interest. Abuts High House Cottage (qv).
