House. C15 with C20 alterations. Timber-frame with painted brick and
rendered infill, tile roof. Two framed bays aligned east/west, gable-end
stack to east. One storey with attic lit by gabled dormer to left; irregular
fenestration: four windows, mostly single-light casements; entrance to left
of centre with boarded door. Framing: three square panels high; the central
truss is a cruck with arch-braced collar, and thus formed an open hall, west
gable a cruck truss, east gable rebuilt. Abuts Lilac Cottage (qv) at west
end.
