north of The Hill
Farmhouse

GV II

Barn. C18 with mid-C19 and C20 alterations. Timber-frame on brick plinth,
with additions of brick, half-hipped tile roof. Three framed bays aligned
east/west with a brick bay to west and a short brick cross-wing to east
end, central threshing floor to framed part. Low entrance to brick bay on
left; cross-wing has ventilation holes arranged in diamond patterns.
Framing: single panel high; intermediate trusses: king-post with V-struts;
gables: struts to collar. Included for group value.
