5 metres south of Chancel
of Church of St Peter

GV II


Chest tomb. Early C19. Ashlar. Ridged and hipped top, moulded cornice,
bold corner balusters, raised inscription panels. Inscription on south:
"In memory of/ Daniel George/ formerly of Nowberry/ in this parish/ who
departed the 16th of May/ 1831/ Aged 70 years/ It is appointed unto men/
once to die and after that/ the judgement".
