5/105 Windmill Cottage


GV II

House. Late C16 with early C19 and C20 alterations. Timber-frame with
painted brick infill refronted in painted brick, thatched roof. Two framed
bays aligned north/south with stack to north gable and a central stack.
One storey with attic lit by eyebrow dormer to right; ground floor: three
2-light casements under segmental heads, entrance to left with gabled tiled
canopy and ledged door. Interior: chamfered beams with straight cut stops;
open fireplace.
