5/116 Barn about 25 metres

Great Knighton Farmhouse

Barn. C17, substantially rebuilt mid-C18. Brick with tile roof, a fragment
of framing surviving in west wall. Eight bays aligned north/south with two
threshing floors, with two central bays between them. East front: diamond-
shaped pattern hit-and-miss ventilation holes. Framing: two raking struts
and a high collar; north-west corner wall has framing three square panels high.
