Farmhouse, including former barn. C17 barn with late C18 farmhouse,
and C20 alterations. Barn: timber-frame with brick infill on sandstone
plinth; house: brick, both with tile roof, two framed bays of barn aligned
north/south with house added to north; house has gable-end stack.
West front: house: three storeys on cellar, dentilled brick cornice, two
windows: 3-light casements under segmental heads (flat heads to second
floor); central entrance has open-pedimented doorcase with consoles:
door has six raised and fielded panels; former barn to right: two storeys,
irregular fenestration: a 3-light casement to first floor, three 2-light
casements to ground floor. Framing: three square panels high with straight
angle braces.
