House. Probably C16 with early C18 and early C19 alterations. Timber-
frame with wattle-and-daub infill fronted in brick, on sandstone plinth,
tile roof. Two framed bays aligned east/west with further lower bay to
west, gable-end stacks to two main bays. South front: two storeys, two
windows: 2-light C20 casements with stone sills; ground floor: similar
windows with plastered wedge lintels with keystone and stone sills,
entrance slightly to left of centre approached by flight of five stone
steps, wooden doorcase with shallow flat canopy; to left the lower bay
with exposed framing, 2-light casement to upper floor. Framing: visible
in east elevation, two large square panels high with long curved angle
braces; roof truss: two struts to collar.
