Farmhouse. Probably C16 with early C19 and C20 alterations. Timber-frame
on sandstone plinth with brick plinth, also some ashlar and brick, tile
roof. H-plan, hall range aligned north/south, stack north of centre; north
cross-wing timber-framed, south cross-wing ashlar. West front: cross-wings
of two storeys, main range one storey with attic lit by gabled dormer to
right above a 3-light C19 casement with segmental head, to left a lean-to
obscuring an entrance; left cross-wing: 3-light casement to first floor,
2-light to ground floor; right cross-wing: 2-light casement to first floor,
blocked window to ground floor. Framing: left gable: four struts to collar
with V-strut in apex; right gable: collar, with multiple struts above and
below. Interior not inspected but likely to be of interest.
