House. C17 with mid-C20 alterations and additions. Timber-framed with
rendered infill on rubble base, painted brick replacement walling and refacing,
and thatched roof. Two framed bays aligned east/west; large external chimney
at north end with offsets, bread oven and rebuilt brick stack. Single storey
and attic with dormers. Framing: three panels from sill to wall-plate, collar
and tie-beam truss at north end with struts and V-strut in apex. West front
elevation: windows are all 2-light C20 leaded casements. There are two ground
floor windows with plank weatherings and two eyebrow dormers. The roof extends
down above the main entrance to the left of the south bay to form a thatched
porch on timber posts; C20 door. Attic lights in south gable end. There is
a C20 single-storey extension at the south end and at the rear of the building.
