Shown on OS map as Cosy Nook.
House. C17 with mid-C20 alterations and additions. Timber-framed with painted
brick and rendered infill on limestone rubble base, some limestone rubble walling,
and hipped thatched roof. Three framed bays aligned east/west, large external
rubble chimney with brick stack and bread oven at west end. Single storey and
attic with dormers. Framing: three panels from sill to wall-plate; no roof
trusses visible externally. South front elevation: windows are all C20 casements.
There are five single-light windows and a 2-light window on the ground floor and
three eyebrow dormers with 2-light windows (large in outer bays). Main entrance
in central bay has a thatched porch on timber posts and a C20 stable door. Single-
bay lean-to addition at east end, limestone rubble with thatched roof and with 2-
light window in south elevation. Interior not inspected.
