Chest tomb about 9 yards

Chest tomb. Probably mid-C17. Ashlar. Moulded slightly hipped capping with
pronounced overhang and moulded cornice. Corner posts have raised decoration.
Sides have oval inscription panels with raised borders set within a recessed
strapwork surround and with a roundel at each corner. Similar strapwork and
roundel treatment of end panels. There is an illegible inscription on the
south side.
