Row of three houses, now two dwellings. Early C17 with early C19 and late
C20 alterations and additions. Part timber-framed with painted brick infill
on limestone rubble base and part coursed limestone rubble with thatched roof.
Five framed bays aligned north/south; rebuilt external rubble chimney with tall
detached brick stack at north gable end, also chimney in central bay with brick
stack to front of ridge and internal chimney at south gable end with brick ridge
end stack. Single storey and attic with dormers. Framing: two and three panels
from sill to wall-plate, roof truss with three tiers of raking struts visible at
north end (possibly a fish-bone truss). West front elevation: irregular fenes-
tration with metal and wood casements contained within framed panels; there are
five 2-light windows and a single-light window on the ground floor and two eye-
brow dormers with 2-light windows. There is a C20 glazed door to the right to
Rohan Cottage and an original probable blocked entrance in the central bay with
a shaped doorhead. The entrance to Cadeau Cottage is at the north end and has
an early C19 flush panelled door with a plank weathering. There is a central
rear C20 wing and also a lean-to.
