GV II

House. Early to mid-C17 with mid-C20 alterations. Timber-framed with painted
brick and rendered infill on rubble base with coursed limestone rubble west
gable end. Thatched roof, half-hipped at east gable end and with brick ridge
stack at west gable end. Two framed bays aligned east/west. Single storey
and attic with dormer. Framing: three panels from sill to wall-plate, truncated
collar and tie-beam truss at east gable end with four struts beneath collar.
South front elevation: there are three ground floor 2-light casements, an eye-
brow dormer in the west bay, which has a thatched gabled C20 porch on timber
posts and a partly glazed C20 door. There is a lean-to addition at the east
gable end.
