9/98 Chest tomb about 10 yards
south of the chancel of
the Church of St Faith
GV II

Chest tomb. Late C17. Ashlar. Moulded capping with fluted and battered
corner posts, scrolled at the base at each end. Side inscription panels
have raised moulded borders and an ornate scrolled and foliated relief design
framing the inscriptions. The inset oval inscription panels at each end also
have raised moulded borders. The inscriptions are illegible.
