Toll house, now house. Early C19, altered and extended mid-C20. Coursed
limestone rubble and limestone ashlar, hipped slate and plain tiled roofs
and large brick ridge stack. L-plan. Two storeys. Gothick style. Windows
all have leaded casements. South front elevation: two bays; left bay is
ashlar-faced and canted with pointed Y-traceried windows. The central face
has a blind first floor window and a blocked doorway. The right bay has a
2-light window on both floors. Main entrance now in east side and has a
C20 half-glazed door within a small lobby. The rear range is C20 addition.
