House, now public house. C17 with some mid-C19 and mid-C20 alterations.
Timber-frame, rendered infill and machine tile roof, additions of roughcast
brickwork. T-plan, front range of two bays with stack to west gable, rear
service range. South front: one storey with attic lit by two 2-light case-
ments in timber-framed gables. Ground floor has a 12-light square bay window
with flat roof. Framing: three square panels high with straight angle braces,
the wall-plate slightly projecting with ovolo moulding. Interior has exposed
chamfered and stopped ceiling beams and a large inglenook fireplace.
