9/83 Dream Cottage

GV II


House. Probably C16 with some late C19 alterations. Timber-frame with
rendered infill and thatched roof hipped to left-hand end. Three framed
bays, extended by a single bay at each end, with ridge stacks. One storey
with attic lit by casements cut into thatch. Ground floor has four 2-light
casements. Two entrances, to left has a C17 ledged and boarded door; to
right a C20 door with lean-to tiled canopy. Framing: two square panels
high, with cruck trusses visible internally.
