7/50 The Balance Farmhouse

Estate farmhouse. Dated EBC GREENLY 1838. Sandstone rubble with ashlar
dressings, brick shafts to stacks, Welsh slate roof. Rectangular plan with
central entrance and gable-end stacks. Continuous outshut to rear. Two
storeys and attics. Entrance front: central gabled projecting two-storey
and attic porch with small 4-pane window in gable, two-centred arched head
to first floor window with square headed label and decorative glazing.
Similar arched head to doorway, inner square headed doorway with plain over-
light and C20 panelled door, porch is flanked by multi-pane cast iron windows
with segmental heads.
