Shown on OS Map as Vicarage.
Vicarage, now house. Late C18, remodelled mid-C19. Finely jointed red
brick and hipped slate roof with overhanging eaves. Two storeys and
cellar; four bays, the fourth bay being a mid-C19 addition. Windows have
rusticated voussoirs and moulded architraves; 16-pane sashes on both floors,
except second bay which has a first floor 12-pane sash; beneath is the main
entrance which has a large porch with Doric columns and an open pediment
with dentilled detail and panelled soffit; the doorway has a moulded archi-
trave, panelled reveals, a door with six raised and fielded panels and a
traceried fanlight. The left side elevation has a C19 bow window with a
moulded cornice and three 12-pane sashes flanked by fluted pilasters.
To the rear left is a large brick stack. Interior: mid-C19 cornices,
moulded door architraves and open-well staircase with turned balusters.
The house was originally three storeys high and of three bays. The C19
alterations also included a rear left wing.
