Barn, now house. C17, restored late C20. Timber-framed, rendered infill
on rubble base, plain tiled roof. Probably six framed bays aligned north/
south; large inserted central rubble chimney with brick stack. Single
storey and attic. Framing: three panels from sill to wall-plate, collar
and tie-beam truss with two struts at north gable end. East front elevation:
five 2-light casements, three skylights and central lean-to porch on timber
posts with multi-paned door; also lean-to porch to right with glazed door
and right side light. Attic lights in gable ends. Interior noted as having
retained a significant part of its roof structure and cross-frames. Inserted
chimney has back-to-back fireplaces. C20 brick additions to south end bay.
