south of Bine Farmhouse

Stable. C17. Timber-framed with brick infill, sandstone rubble gable
end wall, brick plinth and plain tiled roof. One framed bay aligned east/
west. Two levels. Framing: three panels from sill to wall-plate, collar
and tie-beam truss at west gable end with four struts below collar and one
above. Stable door in north elevation and loft opening in west gable end.
The stable is the surviving west bay of a barn and stable range partly
destroyed by fire in the mid-C20. It is situated on the south side of the
farmyard facing Bine Farmhouse (qv).
