1/89 Common Wood Farmhouse

GV II


Farmhouse. Late C18 with mid-C19 alterations. Brick, Welsh slate roof with
parapets at gable ends and end stacks. Three storeys and cellar with dentilled
eaves cornice. Three bays; openings have cambered heads; two ground floor 3-
light casements; three first floor cross-casements, three second floor 2-light
casements; central entrance has gabled metal canopy, ledged and battened door
and fanlight with central glazing bar. Interior not inspected. Two-storey
lean-to addition at rear.
