Farmhouse, now house. Late C16, mid-C19 alterations, restored late C20. Timber-framed, brick infill, brick plinth and replacement walling, plain tiled roofs. Hall and cross-wing plan; hall part of three framed bays aligned north-east/south-west; central chimney bay has brick ridge stack; cross-wing at south-west gable end also of three framed bays and has large external chimney to south-west side and three square brick stacks with joint cap and cogged course at base; two single-bay additions to the north-east elevation adjoin the upper hall bay; the south-east one is set beneath a catslide roof and the north-west one has a separate gabled roof. Part single storey and attic, and part two storeys, attic and cellar.

Framing: three and four panels from sill to wall-plate of hall part; cross-wing appears to have had its roof raised; five panels from sill to original wall-plate and additional row above; large swept braces in upper and lower corners; collar and tie-beam trusses with four struts to collar and V-strut in apex throughout.

North-west elevation: hall part has a three-light ground floor casement and a C20 glazed lean-to porch and ledged and battened door adjacent to gabled wing addition; the latter has a four-light ground floor casement and an attic light; cross-wing gable end has a ledged and battened cellar door, a four-light cellar window, ground floor C19 oriel window on shaped brackets, a three-light first floor casement and an attic light. Main entrance in south-west elevation of cross-wing to right of external chimney; it has a lean-to timber porch and a half-glazed door with moulded architrave.

Interior not inspected but noted has having stop-chamfered main beams.
