Barn, now store. C17, altered early C20. Timber-framed, rendered infill
on tall sandstone rubble and brick plinth; plain tiled roof. Three framed
bays aligned north-east/south-west; central wagon bay with cart entrance in
south-east side. Framing: two and three panels from sill to wall-plate, long
straight braces in lower corners, collar and tie-beam trusses with two struts
to collar and V-strut in apex. South-east elevation: square light and stable
door to left of wagon bay; also stable door to right of wagon bay. Attic lights
in gable ends. Double doors inserted in plinth at south-west gable end.
Interior: roof has two intermediate collar and tie-beam trusses with V-struts
in the apex of each; single tier of trenched purlins. Outer bays are floored.
The woodlands is not included in this list.
