Barn, stable and cow house. Mid-C19 with later additions and alterations.
Brick with dentilled eaves cornice and plain tiled roofs. Barn of five bays
aligned north/south with additional stable bay at north end; barn has central
wagon bay and opposed cart entries with cambered heads; outer bays expressed
externally by recessed panels with cambered heads infilled with a stretcher
ventilation bond. Stable has door into yard on west side and header ventila-
tion courses at loft level. Cow house adjoins west elevation of stable; single
storey with dentilled eaves cornice; six bays; three windows and two doors; all
have cambered heads. The barn and cow house enclose the farmyard to the north
and east of Lower Doddenhill Farmhouse (qv) and are included for group value.
