Miller's house, now house. Late C18 with mid-C19 alterations. Brick with
machine-tiled and Welsh slate roofs. Part three storeys, part two storeys
with dentilled eaves cornice. Three-storey part is of two bays; ground and
first floor windows have cambered heads; ground floor has a 16-pane sash;
first floor and second floor have a 16-pane and a 12-pane sash; main entrance
to right has an open pediment, fluted pilasters and a door with six raised
and fielded panels and a traceried fanlight; it is approached by a flight
of three semi-circular sandstone ashlar steps with cast iron railings and
wreathed handrails with finials. Brick stack at left end of ridge. Two-
storey part: also two bays and adjoins three-storey part at rigth side:
ground floor has a 12-pane sash and a single-light casement; first floor
has two 12-pane sashes; five-panelled door to right of centre. Large stack
to rear centre of ridge. Interior not inspected. A lean-to and a flat-
roofed extension adjoin the two-storey part at the rear.
