Lodge to Stanford Court, now house. Probably late C18 with mid-C20
alterations and additions. Brick with ashlar dressings; plain tiled roof.
Octagonal plan; external chimney with two octagonal shafts to south side.
Two storeys with ashlar plinth, ground floor sill string and moulded
cornice. Ground floor cross-casement in north and west elevations; 2-
light first floor casement in north, east and west elevations; main
entrance in east elevation has a moulded cornice and half-glazed door.
Interior: winder staircase on north-west side. A C20 flat-roofed addition
encloses the external chimney on the south side and links the building
with a large C20 single-storey extension. These C20 additions are not
included.
