House. c1698 with late C18 and mid-C19 alterations. Brick, plain tiled
two-span roofs with elaborately shaped gable ends and tall chimney stacks
at each of the four corners. Two storeys, attic and cellar; three-course
band between main storeys and at attic storey level; dentilled eaves
cornice. Three bays; windows all have moulded cornices; outer bays have
tripartite windows on both storeys; ground floor windows have central 4-
pane sashes and first floor windows have central 12-pane sashes; first
floor window of central bay also a 12-pane sash; central entrance has a
moulded round-arched pilastered surround, deep reveals, a door with six
raised and fielded panels and a fanlight. A flight of six stone steps leads
up to the door with decorative cast iron railings and swept handrails.
