5/19 Mortimer's Cross Cottage


House. C17, with some mid-C20 alterations. Timber-frame with rendered
infill and slate roof. Two framed bays aligned north/south, external
stack to south gable. One storey with gable-lit attic. Two fixed case-
ments with entrance to right-hand corner which is under a lean-to tiled
canopy and has a half-glazed door. Framing: three square panels high,
north gable truss has cross-framing forming decorative lozenges. Interior:
exposed chamfered and stopped ceiling beams.
