5/34 New House Farmhouse

Farmhouse. Early C18, with some early C20 alterations. Coursed rubble
with hipped slate roof. U-plan with lateral stacks on outer sides, each
with brick shafts. West front: three storeys, three windows, all 2-light
casements under stone lintels. Second floor has a 2-light casement to
left and a central blank stone tablet. Central entrance has a flat canopy
on trellised sides, an overlight and a panelled door. (BoE, p 243).
