5/42 Rose Bank Cottage

House. C17, with some mid-C20 alterations. Timber-frame with painted
brick and rendered infill on rubble plinth with concrete tile roof. Three
framed bays aligned north/south with lateral stack to rear (east) wall.
One storey with attic lit by two gabled dormers. Ground floor has two
2-light casements, with entrance to left-hand corner under a gabled tiled
canopy with a ledged and boarded door. There is a further entrance to the
south gable end. Framing: four square panels high. Gable-end truss has
four struts to collar. Interior: exposed chamfered and stopped beams.
